Walkerton District Community School is mourning the devastating loss of four students and a beloved teacher, Matt Eckert, who died in a car crash Friday afternoon. The group was returning from a school softball tournament in Dorchester when their SUV collided with a transport truck near Thorndale. All five occupants were killed.
